A Family HomeAbove the Sea
One private apartment on the ancient walls of Amasra, looking straight down onto the Black Sea. Not a hotel — a home, kept by the same family since 1996.

Our Story
A Dream Kept Alive
Founded in 1996 by Ruhi Özman, Ruhi Palace — known locally as Ada Apart — occupies one of the most extraordinary positions in Amasra: directly on the ancient walls of Kaleiçi, with the Black Sea stretching below.
Today it is run by Ruhi’s family. This is not a hotel; it is a single, spacious apartment for people who want something genuine. History in the stones beneath your feet, silence in the evenings, and a view that changes with every hour of light.
Why Ruhi Palace
History, Nature & the Sea
The flat comfortably sleeps two to four people. Because there is only one, availability is genuinely limited.
One Exclusive Flat
We have only one apartment here, and it is entirely yours for the length of your stay. No shared corridor, no neighbours through the wall.
2,000 Years of History
The Roman bridge, the Byzantine and Genoese walls and the old lighthouse are all a few steps from your front door.
Panoramic Black Sea Views
Every window frames the sea. You wake up to sailing boats and fall asleep to the waves below the wall.
